I'm adding a second post to give you an idea of how "doggie" friendly this place is. It seems like every other person has a dog on the end of a leash or in a dog stroller! After walking along for about 20 minutes and seeing them everywhere, I decided to start snapping a few pictures.
They come in every shape, size and breed. Basically, the big ones walk with their owners, the smaller ones ride. Sometimes there are 2 or 3 per owner. Apparently everyone is used to this. Dogs do what dogs do whenever they meet up with each other. Most of the time they seem pretty well behaved. However, sometimes they have to stop and smell each other and it sometimes gets a little dicey.
By the way, I haven't seen a single cat. I guess they are all at home, thankful to be getting a break.

Barb: These are hilarious! The lady with the No Petting sign was pretty scary looking herself! I love your winsome nature.
ReplyDeleteAgree, Barbara! I would have been more afraid of her than the dogs! lol!
