HE IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED!! We celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with you across the miles. Have a blessed day!
Some Easter confectionery arrangements from Insignia's chef and staff. When going into the Terrace Dining Room to eat lunch yesterday, we stopped to admire the Easter display and one of the Philipino waiters offered us some jelly "beets." We told him they were jelly "beans" and we all got a chuckle out of it. Guess he didn't grow up with the trappings of the Easter season.
We are on our way to celebrate Easter with family in Houston and I thought it was a wonderful time to reach out across the world to send a Joy-full Easter message to you and lo and behold I receive one from you first!!!! So special!!! Thank you so much. We had a grand day in Portland (Corpus Christi area) yesterday. All the children and adults enjoyed the peacocks.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Karen! What a treat to hear from you! So glad you got to spend time with your family. I would love to see those peacocks! Thanks for the devotional you sent. I'm sending a big hug to all my CS friends!
DeleteHugs back! I attended a Chinese church on Easter morning where a dear friend was one of six baptized! Those confections are off the chart ~ gained 5 pounds just looking ;-)
ReplyDeleteExa, what a wonderful Easter! Ours didn't turn out as we had planned, but we still celebrate the resurrection! There was plenty of chocolate on the ship but I thought that was funny that the Filipino guy offered us some jelly "beets."
