Institut of Teknologi, Bandung
Here are a few shots of our first visit to ITB where Ronnie will be working while here in Bandung. His work will consist of teaching and research on global software development with international teams. In the above photo, Ronnie is with Pak Dwi, his host at ITB. He has been super helpful in driving us all over the city, multiple times to immigration office, police station, checking out many places to live, etc. Since most Indonesians are celebrating the month of Ramadan, he does not eat or drink during the day (fasting ends at 6 p.m.) so we are pretty parched by days end, as we try not to eat or drink in front of him. Right: Ronnie and I chose to eat our chicken fingers out of sight in the Engineering conference room so as not to offend our hosts.
For more about ITB you can get an overview here.
